VDJ Gear - Specifically Mixer

Hey guys,

I wanna get started DJing (again). I want to be a VDJ just for now with just a mixer. I just need the mixer so I can cross fade without a mouse and to be able to use the different EQ's without the mouse. Right now I am looking at the Numark M101USB Mixer https://www.storedj.com.au/products/NUM-M101USB. I am not sure if it is good enough to buy. I am just going to do really basic stuff, nothing special for now so I don't need many features. My budget is 200$ can go up to 300$ max.

Please advise.

simple answer is yes

Four parts to VDJ are:

Software

Computer

Controller (instead of using key board and mouse)

Sound card

Look for a controller that has an inbuilt sound card (most pooders have crap sound cards) so that you don't have to buy one separately.

yes that will work.

you can also use traktor or serato intro for the software instead of VDJ if you wish. both are better programs imo
