Jarred Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Well my 2nd set is over and unfortunately i won't be progressing to the finals Unlucky for me i had the 12am to 2am stint and the town was quiet as hell and the other guy thought ahead and invited near to 10 people to listen to his set so the moment i took over... place emptied out although throughout the set people wondered in and out so it wasn't empty all the time. On a positive it was a great experience instead of djing by myself + the owner was quite happy with my selection of music and when the nights start picking up again (spring-summer) he said he'll give me a call Oh and i sorted out my cdj/djm woes, no more not hearin master cue and not getting cue points to load... finally sussed out how to use it all Quote

mattus123 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 its all part of the experience matesounds like this second gig was much better than the first in the mixing/technical issue department, so garts on that tip for your next gig: bring a group of mates to come support you, if u can bring people it goes down REALLY well with the club owners/organisers Quote
