AlexJ
Hey guys i need to get a new pair of speakers, was going to go out and buy a pair of Behringher ones (B215d + stands) for about $650 (current budget), but thought i would put the call out their to the adjf community to see if anyone has something very good they are willing to let go of, or infact these speakers (i do understand they are pretty popular) i am up in the hunter valley, so dont really wanna travel farther than newcastle/sydney to go get them if they cant be freighted. If anyone has something, let me know. Will leave this thread open for a week, if i get no major hits ill just go out and buy they behringher speakers.
Jaz
The behringers are mad for their price, if you want to spend less I could see what price I can do on audioline speakers from JB when I start I'm planning to hook the adjf community up if I can, I've got audioline 12 inchers and they pump, sol has 2 of them + 2 15's and you know how often that kid does gigs and I think it's hobberz or Lloyd that has a set as well if I remember correctly if not the behringers are a good choice
AlexJ
yer i figured they were a pretty good set. Might pay slightly more if i can get a good deal somewhere
Lurk6r
I've got the behringher b212 and the x1500 sub. I don't want to start a 12 vs 15 inch argument again. BUT THE SUB IS FUCKING AWESOME
AlexJ
yer, i dont want that arguementi would love a sub, but realistically the difference between the b212's and b215's is all of like $100 and that isnt enough to afford a sub. I would love a sub, and it is next on my to buy speakers list, but my current ones are about to go, so i need a new set. my budget is pretty much as above
SourceRaver
I know someone who started out with the Audiolines and they served him really well. I did a side by side comparison with Mackies and they still had a reasonable sound by comparison.
djrhysj
Little off topic but for anyone keen on getting Audioline speakers from JB, I would like to share my exp...On the third party of using them (with a bit of user at home as well to run them in), the woofer on one blew.Wasn't playing anywhere near as loud as I did when using JBL Eon.Next night I had another gig on which was wuite small, so I had to just take the one speaker, ahich the horn blew up on.In two days I blew one woofer and one horn.Being only 3 months old I called JB and they said to bring them back in so they can send them away. They were sent off to Audioline in Melbourne (which now isn't called Audioline anymore) and sent back to me around 2 months later, EXACTLY THE SAME! I lost my shit and kicked one of the grills in and now they are just sitting around..
