Addi
Hey guys/galsJust wondering if you have any tips and techniques for this. Bootlegs, mashups, remixes etc. So let's say your intro is an electro track (first minute) and you wanna break down into an RnB or hip hop track, let it play for a bit then build it back up into an electro drop. Anyone have some good tips? The build up seems to be the hardest part for me.I use Ableton and Logic so looking for tips for either! Using the master tempo in Ableton seems to be the only way I can make it sound half decent.Cheers!

Tomy
best bet is to find a few good examples then just do something similar.

Addi
Cheers guysBeen listening to a few tracks with breakdowns like that and just studying them, white noise definitely seems to be the go! Samples like scratching etc can tidy it up a bit too.
