Pending Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Ok so I'm a noob I've mucked around with decks a few times but wanna take it seriously, so I'm looking for advice on beginner equipment that's cheap(by cheap I mean $300 and less) and durable(I like to smack and bang equipment when it doesn't work or I get frustrated). Thanks in advance! Quote
andyman Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 If you're gonna smash and bang your equipment, you might want to find a different hobby. But maybe have a look at something like a Mixtrack Pro.They seem to be a good place to start. Quote
OxyKon Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Also depends if your lookin at mixing vinyl CDs or on a controller, cause there are good beginner packs out there for all, but you have to be willing to spend more than $300 Quote
Pending Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Controller too much hassle using vinyl or copying music to CDs. Yeah I had a look hopefully my income picks up a bit Quote
MelodyIlliterate Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 so you dont want to use cd's, vinyl, or a controller?!? sorry to break it to you man... not a lot of options out there for you Quote

Pending Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Thank guys will have to go through it all Quote
mattus123 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 i think that if ur paying $300, u might have to sacrifice a bit in the durability aspect.. anyway u can increase ur budget a bit?at the same time... if you wanna take it seriously, u probably shouldnt be bashing ur equipment Quote
Pending Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 It's gonna be a hobby not looking to make any money off it. I think that one off eBay is the cat's pyjamas. Quote
OxyKon Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 No 1's told you that DJ'n is like the mafia have they, once your in you don't get out But seriously it does get quite addictive, you'll wanna spend more than 300 Quote

Lurk6r Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Well, how about a bcd3000. You can get one for around $100,its small and good enough to muck around on until you find something better to upgrade to. Quote
GREMM1S Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Well, how about a bcd3000. You can get one for around $100,its small and good enough to muck around on until you find something better to upgrade to.I started on one of those not too bad actually, wouldnt really put it in the durable category though mine died from being a bit rough with the faders Quote
