ruggs Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Story goes like this mate started making a song and was using clips from a vengeance pack and I said that songs like that Beltek - Party voice song (he had never heard it). As far as he and I both know the vengeance packs are royalty free right, coz beltek would of used the same sound/sounds? He just doesn't wanna put out a song that songs very similar to another one and get bantered for it.Here is his song http://soundcloud.com/jwell-2/want-to-move-jwell-originaland the beltek songDISCUSS...... yizzle Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 thats sample packs for ya..anyway...He just doesn't wanna put out a song that songs very similar to another one and get bantered for it.^ if thats true he might as well stop now, cause the similarities are uncanny. Quote
Mitch Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 he could tweak it and name it as a bootleg of the beltek track? Quote
ruggs Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 thats true ysmthats what i said mitchwhat yous think of the track ? Quote
yizzle Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 your friends track is good. but Beltek's is much better. mainly prodiction wise though. sound just has more bass, more clear sounds, more everything really. if it were a race to a finish line. Beltek would win Quote
legunner Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 hey ruggs i live in newcastle too and isaw this posted and instantly recognised that sample so yeah its pretty similar man Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Im sure the sample is from another dance track anyway that both songs use, i think it would be fine. Quote
russell Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 This the reason you shouldn't just stick a sample straight into a track. Samples are good as the basis of something but should only be used as such. Slice them up, re-arrange them, alter the sound of them, anything to make them unique. Quote
