pre mixing

got a 21st, and the song choice by the girl isnt exactly my favourite.

she wants a lot of slow old rnb

so im just going to try pre mix it, in mixcraft or something like that.

but i suck at mixing rnb ahah

any ideas?

Pre mixing means you wont be able to do requests, which we generally get alot of as mobile DJ'S. I'd just be a cross fader jockey if you can't mix it. They won't know the difference.

Just a tip, bring your usual top 40 stuff too, as she will also probably request it.

what Lurk6r said dude, im terrible with Rnb/hip hop as its not my favourites genre(s) so i pretty much do what lurk6r said when i have to play it

I keep saying this over and over again but.

Most mobile dj companies don't even beatmatch, they just get randoms off the street, give you crap cd players or discmans if its a particulary shit company. If you even TRY to mix and fuck it up massively, you are still doing a better job than 80% so called dj's out there. So experiment and have fun.
