robbo Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 try building one likeQuad core 3.0ghz, 8GB ram, good graphics card, min with 1gb ram, as your creating music not video, so its not as importanthard drives should be all removable sata/raidA 120GB HDD for just the operating system500GB HDD as main storage for creating music1TB to store finished workplus 3x other 1TB HDD's for extra roomdo not use the internet for the system ---dont have a firewall as you shouldnt be on the internet...do not install any antivirus what so everkeep anything that needs to be in the system tray kept out of being installedmake sure the software has full use to rammake sure your sound card is the highest qualityrest is how much money your willing to pay out...
