Tomy Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 You can get a disclaimer form and just say it's a hobby (which it usually is)That's how I do mine(Edit: Sorry, I can't remember what the exact name of the form is :/)- you can use the hobby form until you earn up to 5k (for memory)- you do not need to do BAS until you earning over 70 / 75k- which means you don't add GST onto your invoice until you earn of the threshold for BASthats pretty much it. when it comes to tax time you can add it to you total income as "additional income" or something similar to that. but make sure you take records and receipts of all the music you've purchased and equipment, blank CD's, USB's, etc. Quote
