Broken
Ok so i have a BCD 3000, and it was ok for a while, not the greatest, but since ive moved to mac, for starters there is no driver (well not that im aware of) for BDJ, and no other software likes it, it works with ableton but as a midi controller its hopeless so...my questionhow possible is it for me to rip it apart and take the individual knobs and buttons so forth n' put them into a new casing/rewire them etc etc, in dream world i would just buy or something similarbut im saving for alot of things blah blah blahso pretty much, is it going to be worth my money (eg how much will it cost) to do that? Tomy
well if it already doesn't work very well i wouldn't think that pulling in apart and putting it in a new casing would work, unless your only trying to customise the way it flows/interface etc. i would how ever call the companys support team and tell them what troubles your having they might have some tips or updaes for the controller. re-soldering might help? CBG
Depends on what you think the problem is man. If it's not performing the way you think it should, then send it back or get it repaired. That really sucks man.
Broken
Oh it works fine, everythings operational, but in terms of using it with ableton it just doesnt cut it (IMO) ive had it for a few years, and any normal person would just upgrade, but yeah, Money money money I do pretty much just want to re case it so its a little smaller and only has what i want (the bcd300 has two jog wheels which are pointless for me)
ChevChelios
Are you gonna make the case yourself, thats a pretty sick idea....if it works.
CBG
Yeah well hate to tell ya man, but you shouldn't have gotten a behringer... i just returned my DDM 4000 for a Xone:22. All the money should be spent on world class circuitry & engineering, cant beat it.
