Beginner Headphones

What beginner headphones does everyone recommend? I saw these

My mate a pair of them, they sounded okay, but he broke them in a year.

You're better off putting a bit more towards something like HD-25's or XD-53's.

I personally think headphones are a good investment. Even if you don't get right into Djing, you still have a quality pair of cans to listen to music through.

I used a cheap pair of 20 buck headphones that I had lying around the house for the first two weeks I DJ'ed, then went straight out and got HD 25's and haven't looked back, so can't personally recommend any others.

Yeah my headphones were the 1st thing I invested properly in when I started out, it's a really good place to start

Headphones are important man. I would go with some decent cans straight away. Either the HD-25's or the XD-53's.

The other lads pretty much have it covered, I too think cans are important, the difference between an average pair and a good pair is night and day

I have both xd53 and hd-25 and both are awesome, I personally prefer the xd-53s

As what has been said above, the two main contenders for headphones seem to the the hd-25 and the xd53. Both sound great, but you'll be best off going to your local store and trying them out yourself for personal preference

think of it as an investment, they'll keep working for years!

I used Sennheiser HD 215's as my first set and they are still kicking to this day, quite decent without being amazing.

Having tried all of them over a few months to decide on a pair, the HD 25s or the Audio Technica Athpro 700s i think they are or whatever the top model is.

If you're after something cheap to get you started, DJ Warehouse have a number of Reloop models that look like they'd go alright.

Sound and build quality isn't as solid as the top end models mentioned, but for a quick easy solution could be worth a look.

I have got many great deals though OZ deals.
