CapFive
ok so i have a full windows 7 tablet, which i use my DDJ and traktor with, works absolutly perfect, but i ran into a senario the other day that made me think i would love to have some sofware that allows me to not have to use my DDJ (when i dont have it on me)here is the senario:your at a house party, suddenly someone wants you to do a set, you have no gear, BUT you have you good old tablet which is always in the car, bam plug into the sound system that is currently playing the douches ipod who only has crap music, and instantly you have a controller and tablet working as oneENTER i am very curious about this software, i will be maybe purchasing it in the coming weeks or i will at least trial it on my tablet to see what i can get out of it.there is no way i would ever pay the $8000 or whatever they want for the whole system, because all i need is the software.HAS ANYONE USED IT ON A SMALL SCALE?do you think it would work?take a gander and see what you thinkhttp://peauproductions.com/store/index. ... cts_id=
Mitch
the software would be pretty cool to use with a tablet.take tablet + external soundcard (e.g. NI Audio 2) and you have an extremely portable setup.is your tablet multi touch? you would be a bit limited if it wasn't
CapFive
it is multi touch yah, im really keen to try this now, wonder if they will give me a demo to try
Mitch
wouldn't hurt to ask them i guess.only thing that i think would be weird is using pitch faders and + / - for pitch adjust, instead of physically pushing the jog.and the eq knobs would be weird compared to normal. the buttons would be fairly easy to adjust to.custom mapping is also pretty cool
