Skank Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 im looking at buying the s4 and using it at club gigs has any one had any problems using there controllers in clubs eg findign room to set up or plug in ?? Quote
SolDios Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Skank, I thought of this concept a while ago, using this you can have it hovering over a cdj, and just unplug the rca out the back of it, and plug it into the s4.It's pretty much just a U shape piece of wood Quote
Skank Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 OR just use the cdjs in the club lolbeen using cdjs for t least 3 years wanna change things up a bit with some live remixing etc Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Can do that on cdjs man much more satisfying, harder but worth the effort Quote
Lurk6r Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012 Can do that on cdjs man much more satisfying, harder but worth the effortWhat about when the F1 comes out?16 sample decks... Quote
Lurk6r Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012 Technically not controllers, BUT what do you think of this "setup". Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Technically not controllers, BUT what do you think of this "setup". Gay and stupid, would have to sync tunes onto the ipads, would have latency and quality issues, no tactile control, more than likely alot of issues. All when you could have cdj200s sitting there which would do a better job and would be more suitable for a club so djs can bring their usbs or cds in easily. SolDios Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 For the money they spent on those ipads, they could have got second hand 850's. Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Yep, very much a 'look at me i have ipads' kinda thing, an s1 or s4 would have been better and probly cheaper? What's the mixer that behringer one? Quote
GREMM1S Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Ah yeah i used to have a djx750 i think it was from memory, rubbish mixers lol Quote
