conCuss
Whats everyones thoughts on these control systems are they worth the money ? Is the Kontrol s2 good for eginners?
SolDios
If your starting out id recommend the mix track pro, however, if you want something a little more advanced, get the Denon mc3000!It's a great controller, and beats the s2 hands down. The big reasons why:1. Solid steel chassis2. Dedicated faders3. 4 deck control
conCuss
Whats the difference between the s2 and mixtrack pro tho ?
Sentinel
I have the Mixtrack and from what I can see there are several differences. The Mixtrack has larger platters, requires only USB power and is basically simpler. The Traktor has a few more bells and whistles such as the sample bank, a lot more lights and a volume monitor on the actual board as well as a more extensive effects system. It does however require an extra power supply and has smaller platters.I love the Mixtrack because it gives you the basics to learn on and a taste of what you can do with better systems, walking before running so to speak. Also it was in my price range at approximately half the price of the S2.Hope thats helpful/accurate.Ed
