SourceRaver
Interesting..."Why bark when you have a dog"He's basically saying that by letting the software do the beatmixing for you, if gives you time to do other things. It looks like he can remix tunes on the fly and even play unfinished tracks. As Dj's have always been bagged by musicians for playing other peoples music, this seems a great way to be more creative and tailor a sound that is unique. Because of the internet, any Dj can grab the latest and best tracks so you end up hearing them several times a night. I say roll with it. Beatmixing is only a small part of being a good Dj. Tomy
...and with that the age of of the true dj slowly starts to deminish.i dont think so, if you can use new tech. to do something creative and different i say go for it. i would be using a setup similar to this(maybe) plus a few synths and possably a drum machine.... so much research to be done to find the right setup.
