Mitch
Cool mix hoddi, i liked the tracks in it Only thing i would say is maybe watch your levels on a couple of the transitions, and some of them would have sounded a bit cleaner with a tiny nudge of the jog wheel or some EQing, but besides that it was smooooth. If you want an example, 1st trans there was a noticeable drop in the vol when the outgoing track finished, so maybe gently fading that track out would have made it feel a bit smoother, and a bit of EQ on the bass would have helped a bit. But that all comes with practice, this is real good for only your second mix, i'm impressed. Before you know it youll be mixing tracks in a bit quicker and your mixes will begin to flow even more. Keep up the good work
CapFive
good mix hoddi as mitch said the levels are a little bit off, but i think i can help with this, try not to use an auto gain or even a level meter, they lie, it all depends on the song, as you may have noticed with the second song, there isnt really a big snare in there, this is why it sounds softer than the first song, so like mitch said, slowly fade down to the next song or slowly fade the next song up then fade out, this allows the listeners to be able to ease into the different sound, it may not be softer or louder, but to a normal ear which has just been listening to a hard snare, it DOES "sound" softer...hope i havent confused you, just always go off ear, move that cue knob to a straight middle mix and you will be able to tell straight away, also like mitch said only SLIGHT beat matching needs to be fixed
