stevegunn
I've been looking around for public liability insurance since I lost a mobile booking coz the venue insisted I have public liability insurance.Pissed me off a bit coz in 27 years in this biz I've never had a problem. Ever.Maybe just lucky, who knows.I work as a club DJ and have one guy who works for me doing the occasional mobile gig. (about once every three weeks) Anyway. After ringing around a few places I got a bit pissed at the prices. $1000 plus!!! Call me a tight ass but that's a bit dear I think.Don't know about you guys, but to me that seemed a bit steep. So.. Looked further and found this..http://www.duckforcover.com.au/index1.htmlPrices are great, so I went with it. Hope this is of some use to you guys.Gunnie
Tomy
shouldn't any club / venue have PLI?
Genetic
is that 1000 a year or per gig?
Skank
lol it would be a year and a venues entertainment licence should cover you in the event of an accident, as long as its not cash in hand, but that sounds a bit odd
RhemyD
duck for cover are great! I use them... its $100,000 per year (must earn under) and premimus are like $200. You need it for private fucntions and some places insist on you having it otherwise they wont cover you.
