soundcard advice

Probably being asked before, but can't seem to find anything in the search options.

I am wanting to ask some advice regarding sound cards and what ones to look for. I'll be looking to spend between $400-$500 if anyone has any decent recommendations. Will be using for DJ recording, mixing etc.

Looks for brands like M-Audio, NI, echo etc.

Try just looking through StoreDJ and DJwarehouse.

hmmm if its just for recording from your decks i wouldn't bother getting anything too amazing. maybe a firewire interface with a input for RCA's

would look at a behringer U-Control or tascam 122L

but if your looking for midi interface etc. i think the focusrite sapphire are pretty good.
