Gonz
I'm trying to build up my dub library but I'm stuck with mostly UKF tracks I'd like to widen my sources. Is there a sub genre that I can search for? Examples of my favourite style of tracks:

Narukami
dub is different to dubstep. just saiyan also, have you heard of old school dubstep? pretty sick. look for "show me - skream" on youtube and plug that shit into your monitor speakers and feel the bass
Gonz
Hahaha yeah apologies, poor old school dub/dubstep fans have taking a battering from newbies like me and our misnomers lately. I'll be straight out honest and apologize in advance for the technical stuff I get wrong when it comes to category and history of Dubstep.Saw Skream live with Benga at Summadayze but didn't play too much old stuff.Benga's tune with Coki 'Night' was the first dubstep song I liked.I haven't tried mixing any of this old style stuff. Do you get many people moving to it?

Narukami
I usually play it before right show rrally starts to freak the audience out, especially if they've never had bass slaped in.tgeir face before (eg. My friends at the scholl disco)
Mitch
If you mix it good you can get people right into it.However if its a commercial-loving crowd its gotta have those vocals that they know
OxyKon
If you mix it good you can get people right into it.However if its a commercial-loving crowd its gotta have those vocals that they knowSome crowds can actually get freaked out by too much bass, ive had this happen the hard way Its really about choosing your tracks wisely before a set, the best thing to do is hit up beatport, spend a day or 2 going through what they have to offer, lotta really good stuff their

If you can mix well enough you'll be able to switch up sub genres if any style to flow.On to your question lolI like the sounds of DJ Madd and local lad (Perth) Ylem. The deep stuff is always good
