so im slowly going to build a vinyl collection out of love for the music, also buying a st150. Ill be able to plug this directly into my new Ns6, going to be using it as a third deck for scratching/acapella drops etc, but also because ive never owned a piece of wax in my life and i want to get that experience

first thing i want to get is the best of scratchy seal but its sold out of the limited sites i know where to buy them

all i really know is djcity.com, all you wax heads are there any good australian online stores for vinyl? im assuming postage from overseas is going to be expensive :( I know vinyl is still pretty big in the UK and juno offers some pretty good selection.

but yer, local and international sites go!

discogs.com

basically its got a plethora of records, cd, mp3..... music. Can find all sorts of shit on there. Probably the best site on the net for buying vinyl. Especially older stuff.

EDIT. worldwide. it's people selling their shit privately. like an ebay for music. only no auction

yeah discogs s worldwide. there is a dude in buy/ sell selling each piece for a $1!

redeye from syd - http://www.redeye.com.au

record store from syd delivers - http://www.recordstore.com.au/

pretty sure rocking horse from bris delivers - http://www.rockinghorse.net/

clinic 116 from adelaide does hip hop - http://clinic116.com/

and JB has plenty and they also deliver

and gandy for scratchy seal, check the thud rumble website http://www.thudrumble.com/ . its been a while but i remember working out it was cheaper to order 3 albums from there delivered, then to go to dj warehouse and buy the same 3 albums

but tbh other than a couple of battle records & chevs one i have not bought any new vinyl. ive gone to various record fairs and just dig.

speaking of which i got chevs one from juno. it wasnt too bad actually. im sure less than 20 bucks so no diff then buying it brand new in a shop

record store does, you just have to dig hard on their random ass lists. plus if you go in there (i know its difficult for you). these guys usually have a fair bit of second hand which never gets catalogued, as they get djs selling their collections.

but yeah none of the above have anything like juno (which im pretty sure postage aint too bad. just dont compare postage to aus to postage to your homeland russ!)

EDIT: 10"/12"/LP: £3.60 for first record, then £2.00 per record. so about $5.50 for first and $3 per rekkid

spank records probably had the best collection albeit very expensive but they died last year.

Juno postage used to be nothing really as they were only a few hunderd miles donw the road. Even at that i used to go into a local record shop in Glasgow (will need to see what their postage is like) as I preferred the face to face realness of a shop.

Reckon i'll prob spend most of my time trawlling discogs for older hidden/forgotten about gems.

A shop to buy some new shit would be nice though.

yeah i use to pop into record store and spank plenty when i first got my kit. but having tsp kinda turned me off buying brand new 12 inches.

Yeah i tend to only buy new tracks on vinyl if its a vinyl only release. save a bit of cash. these days i do prefer digging for older material.

I found one record shop in Perth when I was there briefly that i will be visiting for sure for a good dig once i've got a house sorted.

I'm a fan of Juno. There is Hard Wax reocrds but they dont quite do it for me as far as the ease of listening to tracks.

Also there Is turntable Lab in USA, But postage is Crazy.

Im also hunting for that illusive site so keep me posted. Juno so far has been the best.

juno's website is horrible to navigate

decks.de

phonicarecords.com

rushhour.nl

hardwax.com

EDIT. yes discogs sells vinyl. if the person has vinyl. usually when you search for a particular track it will have a bit at the side for 'buy CD', 'buy Vinyl' & 'buy MP3'

If it's not available on a particular format then it won't be listed so.

these guys are a bit pricey for new but their discogs selection has some nice stuff (i was looking for force md's meets the fat boys 12", and they had the whole album for 1 pound 99). delivery is GBP 6.50 for first an GBP 2.00 per each next record. doesnt matter if 12" or LP.
