wazza Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Are you having problem set up your kp3....If I had one I would use as a midi controller & for audio EFX ..... Quote
yizzle Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 If I had one I would use as a midi controller & for audio EFX .....i thought thats all that it was. except its FX were outta this world. Not going to find that crazy shit on Traktor. Quote
Cupe Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 ok so i should just hook it up through traktor for on the fly effects? Quote
yizzle Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 thats what i would do hands down. You can get in & out of some sweet transitions from what i have seen people do.if you never get convinced, i will be the first to take it off your hands Quote
Narukami Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 around the 2 minute mark is when he uses the kaoss pad... well not for djing but you get the idea. lots of effects and stuff Quote

Cupe Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 yea i've done that with it, but i need it for setsor else getting rid of Quote

wazza Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 ok so i should just hook it up through traktor for on the fly effects?I have the kaoss pad-Q ..the EFX are better on the kp-Q because you can lay-up to 4 EFX , the kp3 will only do one at a time ( hardware EFX )...but the kp-Q don't have midi over USB like the kp3 so I cant midi map to software ....you don't need to use it just for EFX in say software ....as a midi controller you can midi map it to do anything you need it to do in your d.j software (if you need hot cue,s, or loops or load tracks into the players in you d.j software just midi map it to do what you need )... + it can do hardware audio EFX at the same time you use it as a midi controller Quote
SolDios Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Just find a way to map it to the effects decks in traktor, it can be done.Edit, do all the stuff we did before, but in effects, change either fx1 or fx2 to send rather than insert Quote
