Can I suggest:

"Hi i'm Kris...and im ready to hire for your next function!"

You also have some great gear, so set it up one day and get some good photos of it.

Also get a good photo of your face. The photo of your back doesnt really inspire confidence. Maybe think about paying a photographer and getting some good promo images for the web site (like you pheonix one).

I might suggest a rewrite of the 'about' just sounds abit..idk how to describe it. i just think it needs work

but otherwise looking good

laser spam all the things!

perhaps:

" Now I have in my possession over 9 grand of equipment, which has all been paid for myself. Including 3400w of speakers, many lights & lasers, along with industry standard mixing equipment."

=

"Hire fee includes the use of $9K of professional DJ equipment including lights, lasers and 3400W of sound."

Also I have a logo for soldios coming, it's a giant spectre like this

Nocturne_Splash_0.jpg

thats a banging image sol. personally, i really like it. but...

but dont you think it looks a little Downlink/Datsik/Excision kinda heavy Dub vibe?

eg.avatars-000001165277-1vwj4a-crop.jpg?04ad178

even if people dont know some dub artists etc. like i mentioned above i thought you were also ino weddings, 18ths, 40th birthday bashes etc.

point is, if i saw that pic while looking to book my daughters 18th birhtday or sons wedding, you would be first off the list.

It's alot more cartoony, that pic was just for example

also I don't really care if it looks similar to others, no matter what someone out there will have something similar picture wise.

I am moving towards clubs however, if I score a residency down the line, the only time I will be mobiling is for mates.

My goal is pretty much where swiss is now, on le main spots of posters, and sub spot's of festivals.

^ not that I care what image you use but be aware: most mobile DJs I know also have the same aim to get some sort of residency.

There is absolutely no reason why you can't do both with totally seperate websites, logos, etc etc.

The two businesses do not really compete anyway and if a club promoter discovers the dope DJ he booked is also known as a reliable mobile then that promoter will just feel he is the presence of a true pro who can handle his own shit.

Exactly bro. No reason you cant do both

I dj personally under the name AlexJ so i mobile and that. that name will carry with me if i ever get into clubs or what not. But i also operate Candyland Under Enghteens. Which exists more as a larger business. Not too established atm as we have only run 1 event but it was pretty successful. For my troubles with Candyland i gained experience in promoting, entertainment management and some very valueable connections with security company, st johns, local council etc. While first one wasnt overly profitale, once you get a couple going you might find that the business is more in your wheelhouse. because no doubt there is more money to be made there. The one that used to run every month down the south coast had 600-700 tickets sold for every event @25 a head. old mate was pocketing 6-7grand for one nights work (obviously a couple of weeks prep but by no means full time work).

Not saying he cant do both, just as others mentioned it would be a good idea not to mix the marketing of each.

A normal website will be more useful for the mobile gigs, whilst soundcloud and facebook will be better for potential club gigs.

^exactly how to do it.

I have mobile work and my own creative djing, then I also have my teaching work. All 3 are seperate businesses and apart from when a student wants to know how I really DJ (once they are over 18) the only time the 3 branches of my business get close to each other is when I do my annual tax return.

Images, logos, email addressess etc are all different for each branch of work. Phone number is same but only coz I'm not carrying 3 phones everywhere.

I have seen some dj's out at party's, halls and what not and honestly they don't do a very good job, not to mention they ask for a stupid amount for there poor effort. For a hobby I have been a dj for a few months now and decided that I would just out do other people and play at places when ever for a lot less. So anyway give me a buss if your interested, Thank you :)
