GREMM1S Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Im still yet to find out if the quality of sticks makes a difference?Exporting on rekordbox is really slow wonder if faster sticks will help Quote
Mitch Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Im still yet to find out if the quality of sticks makes a difference?Exporting on rekordbox is really slow wonder if faster sticks will helpI've found the sandisk sticks are pretty good. But all flash drives get slower over time. I think they are prob all pumped out from the same factory anyway. I just like the sandisk ones. Also transcend. They both do the job Quote

robbo Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 if you use usb 3 you can get faster transfer rates Quote
GREMM1S Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 PC is only usb 2.0 man, can get a 3.0 pci card but will still get bottlenecked by the mobo Quote
Mitch Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 also i think some usb 3 shit still bugs out a bit on pio players. Depends whether the club has firmware updated or not etc. which isn't really a risk worth taking Quote
GREMM1S Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 picked up some cruizer edges today for 9 bucks each which was pretty good will see how they go, the usb 3.0 thing makes sense, the cdjs would be usb 2.0 id assume, and not having the drivers/controls like a pc would struggle with usb 3.0. Quote

They released a firmware update with USB compatibility but obviously not everyone is going to have that update installed, and it probably has some bug in it Quote
