ChevChelios
Alright so me and my mate have started a little dubstep side project but we are having trouble sharing files. We both use ableton live, he uses mac and I use PC, would that create a problem. Main question is how do you get other peoples live sets to work, when I load one of his sets up everything is an audio track and there is no sample. Were are we going wrong?ThanksChev. Genetic
i think it's because macs and pcs use different sample files- vst's and something else
Tomy
should work fine, just make sure you include all the samples when you give him the file.... you can do this through "manage files"Vst's maybe a problem but there is a plug-in you can get for mac's to use VST'sshould re-wire your computers together. fun times. (not sure how it will go with PC vs MAC)

ChevChelios
Yeah thats the weird thing, all the samples have been included, but things that should be midi tracks have loaded as audio tracks with sample offline reading. How do you rewire comps together? Tomy
can do it over LAN then go into prefrences... so you can sync stuff together and JAM!yeh sounds weird man, there is always problems going from mac to pc, maybe save the files off then copy and paste them onto the mac by themselfs not as part of the abelton file?
