GREMM1S
Anyone else got one of these new units i recently won one from a dj warehouse comp.Very solid little unit, having a played on more expensive controllers i think the ergo is very good seeings its aimed at entry level. The bundled virtual dj software is horrible tho, as soon as serato intro was released for the ergo i jumped on that and its a million times better
Jaz
Havent looked into it much. How did u win it though?
GREMM1S
Lol so easily, had to share or comment on the review of the ergo on the dj warehouse page and 5 winners were randomly chosen, gts.
Dominant
Seen the video, looks pretty basic.Would probably be really good for parties though, you could easily fit that and a laptop in a backpack.
GREMM1S
Yeah i was thinking more holidays/drinking with mates its perfect. Anything or with a decent crowd has to be cdjs. For anyone thining of buying/already got make sure you use serato intro instead of vdj so much better

GREMM1S
anyone used ergo with traktor?Nah i dont think it's native to traktor from memory, would have to make or download a midi file. That said it would most likely work pretty well with traktor. GREMM1S
garts on the win man... did you have to sign a clause saying you cant sell it?Nah nothing like that at all, just gave them my address and they mailed it out to me.
legunner
That's sick congrats on the win it looks like pioneer made this as a kind of intro level casual controller which is cool because they haven't had anything like this before i personally dont like the look of it though but that's just personal preference

The ERGO is meant to be a entry level controller for pros that need something compact and portable, it packs more punch than most around that price range. Jaz
Depends though? Is he getting booked as a producer or a DJ? Example, Porter Robinson uses an S4 but he is getting gigs as a producer, as long as he can throw down a mad set as well No 1 cares how he does it

Lodgie isn't a friend of mine just a DJ I had the pleasure to work along side with as a promoter and he plays some massive gigs and that's all he uses. So keen on 4 deck mixingAh it doesnt? What does it run twitch?Yeah ddj s1 runs itch... when you say multi deck control so you mean can use it as a mixer and add decks to it?>I think the T1 can cause it has 4 eq faders on it.... unfortunately not the S1
djnatdog
Is he a producer though? If not he better do some cool shit with the ergo or its pretty lame imo, what software does he use it with?No he sells him self as a DJ he uses Serato I believe I didn't get much time to speak to him when he was playing due to the simple fact it was a crazy weekend and promoters have to keep on their toes. MelodyIlliterate
How often do you need to supply your own gear though ? All these gigs don't have their own setup ?
