to update or not to update?

I got an email from NI telling me that version 2.1.2 of traktor was available.

The last time I updated, the CPU usage went through the roof and as a result I had to drop my latency setting to something far too low to be responsive.

has anyone updated to this yet?

should I just stick with what I have and be done with it, since i'm not encountering any issues at the moment?

most definitely read the forums and wait a week before any NI update they are absolutely shocking.

did you guys stick with the previous update? pretty much everyone on the NI forums rolled it back.

i kept having problems with cracking etc. I reinstalled traktor and it was working fine.... I can't remember if I updated it again, but I have a feeling I didn't

however, i've also heard of this awesome forum where this guy called "eggs" keeps updating threads about things like traktor updates after he's watched them for a week or two

might wait and see what happens over the coming weeks, and keep an eye on the NI forums.

Im in no hurry to update, mine works sweet now and I have had trouble with previous updates.

i havent upgraded for prob over a year, so skipped a few.

anyways dont need NI now, lets just wait for spits review

It if ain't broke don't fix it. i never update programs unless its a major update. if its just little bug fixes and.im not experiencing the bugs then nah

I get high CPU usage from my traktor too

But not updating straight away
