Cupe
One of the biggest faces in commercial music is attempting to enter what used to be an underground and hardly heard of genre? This pretty much says Dubstep is one of the biggest things around at the moment
OxyKon
Yeah but how many people thought that it would get this popular, it grew and expanded so quickly, I never saw this coming lol
SourceRaver
"Everyone in the uk only knows the niggah names and.only some underground""Oh shit I meant bigger names in dubstep not niggah names... sorry I'm on my phone.."
LabRat
The mainstream is made of underground elements. JB's tuned won't exactly be dubstep but elements of. You can't take a risk to invest thousands on underground music so I don't believe it will be the "end of dubstep"

eggssell
i remember when i joined the forum in 2009 we were already discussing the death of dubstep!!all it really means is the death of dubstep in the media. dubstep existed before it was dubbed dubstep, and it will continue to live post the media hype.just like electric boogaloo was the death of hip hop according to the media. then the death of pac & bigg was the end of hip hop. and so on and so on. yet hip hop is bigger and better than ever, albeit the mainstream is no longer involved.and just like electro before dubstep became the mainstreams lovechild. it existed before the boom, and there still is some great electro producers out there.like chuck d says don't. don't. don't..don't believe the hype...
