Gandy Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 being lazy, just wondering are cdj 1000 mk3s still over priced, really over not having any dj gear Quote
SolDios Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Unfortunately when I was searching around, yes. There about as expensive as the 900's If your intent on getting 1000's, id just settle for some mk2's. (Even then people sometimes want outrageous amounts cash for em)or you could get a controller? Quote
Mitch Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Havent looked for a month or two (since i bought my gear) 1000s were still overpriced then, I doubt pricing has changed since. If your not in a hurry and can wait for a used pair to come around, 850s are dope for the price. And Better than 1000s IMO Quote
anditz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 yeah what mitch said, you're better off with 850s. cd's are dead Quote
Jaz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Yeh bro, still hundreds of people wanting $1000 per cdj1000...it's a joke lollike someone else said, 850's bro Quote
mattus123 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 i use the cdj1000s and they are definitely awesomebut yea you could probably get a better CD player, or at the very least, an equally good player for less Quote
Gandy Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 think i might just bite the bullet after chrissy and get a controller, been drooling over the ns7 again. Controller being portable, as my living arrangements are still uncertain, plus having done my time and played all the club gigs i wanted and not really interested in getting back into clubs scene, more wanting to get back into my monthly mixes (fans have been hassleing me) and producing so yehwould love to read a user ns7 review Quote
SolDios Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 They need to make a controller with cdj 800+ sized jog wheels some time. Quote
tubby Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 yeah what mitch said, you're better off with 850s. cd's are deaddepends on what you use then with. I still use my cdj800's with a time code cd. all the fancier controls and displays are better in traktor so this is as good a setup as any Quote
imadje Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Ns7 users have own forum at serato.com. On iphone cant link. You'll find it tho. Heaps of info specific to itch and ns7. Quote
