Unfortunately when I was searching around, yes.

There about as expensive as the 900's

If your intent on getting 1000's, id just settle for some mk2's. (Even then people sometimes want outrageous amounts cash for em)

or you could get a controller?

Havent looked for a month or two (since i bought my gear) 1000s were still overpriced then, I doubt pricing has changed since.

If your not in a hurry and can wait for a used pair to come around, 850s are dope for the price. And Better than 1000s IMO

think i might just bite the bullet after chrissy and get a controller, been drooling over the ns7 again. Controller being portable, as my living arrangements are still uncertain, plus having done my time and played all the club gigs i wanted and not really interested in getting back into clubs scene, more wanting to get back into my monthly mixes (fans have been hassleing me) and producing so yeh

would love to read a user ns7 review

yeah what mitch said, you're better off with 850s. cd's are dead

depends on what you use then with. I still use my cdj800's with a time code cd. all the fancier controls and displays are better in traktor so this is as good a setup as any

If you want to come down to the Gold Coast and play on my NS 7 for the day......then you will know if you would like to buy them
