93DJs Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 tbh I didn't even realise this website existed until a couple of days ago when trolling around bored procrastinating from exams! But I got into DJing two years ago, started actually djing out the start of this year and have done around 15 house parties across the year just from word of mouth from previous events, and as much as mobile djing and house parties have that stigma of not 'real djing', I do really enjoy it and am not really too keen on the club side of things, as I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at house parties. [Namely 18ths]I'm a digital dj through and through; and spent most of my time on djtechtools.com and its forum as well as the inthemix forum although i tend to not post so much!Currently using a Vestax VCI-100, Korg Kaoss Pad Quad, and Novation launchpad tied into Traktor on my old laptop. My passion is Progressive/Uplifting House, however being in the mobile ring of things; what I am most commonly playing is more commercial house.Have a pretty decent Mobile lighting rig currently, with just a T-Bar, a strobe,4xcoloured LED strobes, 2xLED moonflower type deals, and a laser and a faze machine [spent around $500 All from DJCity - Very happy with all the gear]. But am looking to upgrade this week with money saved over the year for a party coming up friday so should have a nice picture of the [hopefully] upgraded rig next weekend Looks like a great board from what I have skimmed over so far Quote
