tubby
they may not be a perfect measure of the best dj but it's a nice way to get some experience in a real environment.
Skank
tomy- im not sure i guess it would be the usual generic dj judging, mixing ability, song selection and croud reactionmitch- thats what i was thinking but i can understand why they would do that from a business point of viewI guess i would just like to make sure it works for me and not against me
CBG
just make sure you memorise your set. Dont waste ne time on beat matching, figure it all out before hand. Spend all your time on special wow effects like filters, samples and flangers lol. Crowd will love it. Ohh and depending on the crowd, make sure you play at least one song of what all the kids are listening to... "Play some john course!!" lol
Andy_is
Yea alot of them are judged on the crowd you bring, But if your mixing is good and your get the crowd involved you got a chance. Main thing is getting the crowd more pumped than any of the other djs.
