tubby Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 dual cd decks still output the same as 2 separate decks so they'll work fine with any DVS application.traktor scratch duo will work fine and it's about $200 cheaper than serato. you get more features, better soundcard that the SL-1. with serato though, you get nice simple program that almost never fails Quote
djspenny Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Yeah mate i just wanted to know like before i brought it lol what some other good audio interfaces Quote
RhemyD Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 as far as i know they all use the audio out of the cd trays. I'm going to be looking at getting a CMX 3000 if your after a decent rack mount system i'd look at that.if money is an issue then look at DJ tech stuff. Quote
dubnosis Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Remember, though, if you want to use it as a DVS (digital vinyl system) you will want to use a CD deck that has a jog / dial wheel on it (like a Pioneer CD-J). YES the dual decks will work BUT if they don't have jog wheels you won't have the tactile control which is the thing a DVS system is supposed to give you. Quote
CBG Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Gotta go serato man. You can still use the CD players as time code. It's just a CD instead of a record, bit homo though if u ask me.Otherwise try virtual DJ (cringe), bottom line is, if you get traktor or serato or torq your gunna have to pay for the hardware. With Virtual DJ you dont have to, you just need a sound card with two channels. But please dont take advantage of the auto beat-lock system... Quote
