i wrote this blurb on the night i tried to post the mix the first time about five days ago

hey so its been a longtime between dranks but finally got a mixxx together. Just in time for summer too. I tried something different this time round. I know a couple weeks back street mentioned about mixing outro to intro. And I realised ive never actually done this. so I gave it a go and it turned out aiight.

two absolute shockers (i had some bad ass phasing going on one; and I did a great example of a mismatched phrase while not knowing when a tracks lyrics are coming back haha). one really good transition. then a handful of average ones (I keep coming on way too strong. when I mix too).

I even used my first effect (well its only because I got desperate on a transition )

anyways… the name states the genre. listen on speakers because headphones youll hear the imperfections! tracklist below. Ill put up some times just for critiquing but mix is best enjoyed just in the background as you do something mundane. or maybe crusing to the beach with the top down.

plus i dont really deserve any comments since i have been slack commenting. i will rectify by listening to all the comp mixes tonight.

Really liked this eggs, some dope tracks in there. Still clean mixing for someone who has been away from the decks for a while, also I think you may have sparked a little love for disco inside me.

Hey thanks man. Yeah i was only really happy with maybe 2 of them, including my use of the echo in the last transition. As per other thread i spent a lot of time spinning records back and missing desired drops.

its just the tracks that make it stand strong! All artists are some of my fave. But def grab craze's EP. Four tracks. And ive raved about codes heaps.

And thanks to shabang i discovered bogusdank. Bought heaps of his tracks in one hit.

actually thats what my "this is for the weekend" mixtapes use to be. well they were really just compilations. but to be played in order as i would plan the tracks. and they were to pump me and my holmies for the clubbing for the weekend. i remember in my first job, id pop one on at about 4 every friday.

cool. cheers. almost forgot about this. as i said nothing fancy as it was just intro/ outro basic. and not very well either. but some killer tracks.

working on a more bmore/ ghettotech/ breaksy one where ill go back to my usual style of mixing.
