Mitch
I'd get the separate drives and put movies on one, and music on the other. That's what I do. Keeps things separate.

Cupe
I'd get the 2, and put everything on both and just use one to back up to all the time
anditz
Yes but I was also thinking along the lines of backing up all my music on both drives and plugging them into the 400s
Mitch
Do you really want to have to browse through 100gb of music on a cdj 400 screen though? That's why i use 16gb flash drives in the decks and just put what your actually going to mix on there, easier and quicker to find songs, but you can still put heaps on there
anditz
hmmm i guess, but i'm the kind of dj that won't look for a particular song, i'll just come across one that i like and put it on lol. i find i get a lot more variety into my sets that way. Jaz
dunno, 1TB is easier, less clutter, and cheaper...so probly that for me
Mitch
Yer anditz I Do that a bit too, but I don't really want my whole collection plugged into my decks. So much alternative rock and other genres that am never going to mix, so only put edm that I might mix onto the usbs.

SolDios
Id recommend not putting your music on the hard drives, as if they are moved (sometimes souly by vibrations) it can screw up the disk alignment.id get 2 32gb usb's (these ones can be set to auto backup a folder when connected)http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/stor ... sku-66263/
Mitch
He has a 100gb. 64gb isnt enough. I have around 8 external drives that I carry round At different times and never had that happen
