I don't have a paid account but I haven't been able to load a mix up in ages, it seems they are really getting anal about copyright, anything on the mau5trap record label is always copyright, and I can't remember wat pendulums drumstep mix of witchcraft is on but that is also copyright

If you have appropriate licences to broadcast the mix, when they try and block it it asks you if you have the rights to be using the track, then you can contact them and upload appropriate paperwork and they will let it on

tried while anti-virus off (as suggested on soundcloud forum) nope.

tried with firefox as suggested above. nope.

well maybe five more tries and then i guess i have no choice but mixcloud.

The never ending story la la lala la la laaa...

So after about four days since i sent support a question, they finally got back to me. Something like:

"So it looks like you were able to upload..." - because my last failed attempt was still up there, saying please reupload

"You should let us know how you successfully got to upload it" - wtf!!!!

"Any feedback is great. Please click here to let us know how good our service has been...."

I guess im done with soundcloud.

Sucks no DL on mixcloud but better than nothing

Don't give up on it completely dude, ive tried uploading a few mixes onto it lately as well and it's been rejecting them, for me it's mainly been copyright shit which is getting outta hand lately, but it's still a great tool for uploading tracks that you write urself

well ill be

support came back to me and said try not using a router. while i thought how can that make any difference. i download files bigger and have no probs. or stream larger files. but guess what it worked!!!

wu-huuuuuuuuuuuu

Posted

haha oops. i meant they said plug into your router rather than using wifi. and it worked!

spit, the router is what allows you to have your internet on wifi. most modems are modem/routers these days though some people still use a modem and router together.

so???.

my other mix was a wav file 145MB went up with no issues.

i bought a small office modem/router.

i remember from my old apartment you could get a few bars from the pool about eight levels down.

i know great for my neighbours!
