First try at something electro-ish

Whats up guys, I got fed up with dubstep for a bit and decided to try and mix things up production-wise. I really like electro but its new territory for me so its been a challenge, especially getting the right sidechain and sub.

heres what I came up with so far:

I know the intro is really boring and theres a lot to be done, my main thing I want to know is if Im on the right path with the sidechain in the lead synth since I dont have a good ear for that yet and also what you guys think of just having the sub bumping with the beat instead of going with the synth or doing its own thing.

Any other suggestions or feedback would be awesome, like I said, I dont really know what Im doing to well. I am here to learn haha

Yeah i agree... when it drops it needs to bang. The sounds are all there! It sounds f*ing awesome in my opinon just need it to punch more. And wayyyy louder punchier drums also! Then its gonna be banging!

agree with what others have said, make that drop at 1:20 have a bit of punch and you have a killer track .. very nice man look forward to hearing completed version
