LabRat
i think remixing is a good start because you can learn alot by screwing around with other peoples work. real good help on structure when you're using the stems.you can learn about chopping audio and all that. basically with a remix, the picture has been half painted and you're just putting in the final colours. its a good stepping stone to starting originals. with an original, you are basically coming up with the melody, all the fills and everything else that makes it your own. with a remix, the melody is there and you're just putting in the fills n stuff.... im sorry if none of this makes sense because im sure it doesnt... im a lil out of it lol
