Hiroshi
I burned a file to a disc, MP3 format and my CDJ(200) says E8305. I tried burning a new disc, that did squat. And now I'm kinda stumped because I'm still super-new to this.I got the song file from IMO Download, if that helps any. Other tracks I got from them work fine, but this one (Keyes - My Time) is really giving me the shits. As I said, sorry for the noob question. I'm still working on a solution albeit slowly.Edit: Tried mixing again and had to fuck around with VBR. Friend told me how to fix it through WinAmp so I'm all good. Jaz
so this is fixed? if not download a free format converter and change it to WAV
Hiroshi
Yeah I solved the issue by converting them through WinAmp and then burning an Audio CD instead of whatever I was doing before. Works perfectly.
Gandy
you will find older equipment can only "read" cds that are burnt as audio cds, you might have been burning it as a data cd when putting the mp3 track on it. Itunes gives you the option to burn as an audio cd regardless if the song is mp3 or wav so you dont have to manually convert your songs
Jaz
burning as audio CD is better anyway man, burning as MP3 CD compressed your files down hard n fucks with the audio qaulity
Hiroshi
I noticed as soon as I swapped to Audio that the quality was a vast improvement. But really, I'm happy everything works.Greatly appreciate the putting-up with my bullshit.
