LabRat Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I don't own a microkorg but have used one. It's pretty sweet but there's some other "mini" Korg synths around that you should look into. The R3 is a pretty good synth too Quote

Love it. half decent sound and you can get a program to patch on rather than doing it on the synth itself which is 1000 times easier. Does that annoy you?I've never used it as a MIDI controller as I don't actually own it. Tbh, I've never used MIDI controller knobs on a vst, theres so much effort in mapping it and in the end still doesn't feel the same and isn't as fun as using real gear. If you want a MIDI controller with lotsa knobs, then get a MIDI controller with lotsa knobs, not a synth with MIDI capabilities, cause there aren't many that do both well. Quote
