SolDios Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hey guys, I received my 800's today and am having one problem with them, even with auto cue on they do not stop when the track runs out, and instead start to play the next song.Is there any way I can fix this? It is becoming quickly annoying... Quote
Lurk6r Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 No clue but heres the manual.http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/p ... Manual.pdf Quote
Jaz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 my 2000 does this man, its just a feature so u can leave a playlist running if need be, it shouldnt matter anyway sol, if the song is finished you should have either mixed out of it already or crossfaded/level dropped before the last beat Quote

Hobberz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 My 900's stop between tracks when Auto Cue is enabled. All CDJ's with Auto Cue should, dont know what is wrong with your gear guys but its not right. Both sets of 800's I have used the Auto Cue feature worked fine. Quote
Suby Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I dont use auto cue, probably why they keep playing? Quote

Jaz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 yeh i should have mention that auto cue (if u use it) will stop this Quote
imadje Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 V interesting... I didnt believe there could be a problem with Auto Cue on CDJs as it is such a straightforward function.... but having checked the manual it looks like they have changed certain parts of it.According to Page 11 of the manual lurker linked to the autocue will not work if the platter is set to "vinyl"furthermore it has a sub setting which chooses at what volume the auto cue will recognise sound and set a cue.Neither of these things have any effect to auto cue on my cdj1000 mkii as far as i know but you guys may want to experiment a bit... Hobberz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Thats what Sol is saying, even with auto cue on, it doesn't stop between tracks. Quote
imadje Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 ^exactly: so either the vol setting is too high and the machine doesnt recognise there is music there, or pioneer have actually changed things so that auto cue will not work in "vinyl" mode...which seems odd.Unless i'm reading the manual wrong? Quote
Hobberz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Sol, when you burnt cd's did you put a gap in between tracks???? Quote
SolDios Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 ^ yes, 1 second. However Ive read around, and there doesn't seem to be a fix, with or without vinyl mode or auto cue on or off. It still goes on to the next track Quote

It still goes on to the next trackI have used 800's and the auto cue worked fine, there is obviously an issue somewhere. Auto cue wouldn't be on the 800's if it wasn't going to work. Quote
Hobberz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 One set were MKII's, cant remember what the other ones were. But why would Pioneer put the auto cue button on the MKI if they didn't intend for it to work??? Quote
SolDios Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 I think all the auto cue does on these ones is make it so when you press cue it jumps it to the first beat Quote
Jaz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 hmm gotta agree with Hobz, sounds weird, i meen its just skipping the auto cue....so once your current song finishes and the next 1 starts playing, if u hit cue will it jump to the 1st beat of the track like normal? Quote
Jaz Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 dear god he worked out what it was.....Auto Cue doesnt work on Vynil mode [20] fixed it[20] it just auto goes though if its on vinyl mode[20] :/[20] serious?[20] no shit hahahahahaha[20] yeh[20] XD[20] on normal mode with auto cue its fine[20] thats why its vinyl mode, its imitating a TT[20] TT doesnt autocue itself Quote

It still goes on to the next track^^^^ from earlier, so did you even try it before. LolI use vinyl mode all the time, so that would be annoying. But glad you got it sorted mate. Quote
SolDios Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 ^ yeh it was doing it before, I don't know why, but it seems to be working now so all is fine Quote
imadje Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 According to Page 11 of the manual lurker linked to the autocue will not work if the platter is set to "vinyl"dont mention it / nobody reads what i post Quote
