Genetic Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 hey all i'm looking at getting an efx500 with my tax return i know djwarehouse has them cheaper than store dj, does anyone think this is a good idea? Quote
Tomy Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 what sort of mixer do you have? might be handy to do it through effects send & recive rather than through the main signal.... Quote
Genetic Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 i've got a djm 700 so already i'm not going to get anymore effects than i've already got, i will however have the ability to select exactly which frequency my effects affect and i'll have a 3 band isolator for eq Quote
tubby Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 can you borrow one first? I found even when I did, getting levels right on the send/return was so annoying on my old djm3000, I stuck to the on board effects most of the time.though I would like a nice isolator Quote
Genetic Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 i could ask around at different hire venues i guess Quote
Genetic Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 ok i'd forgotten about this thread, i ended up getting one off ebay for just under 400 including postage, i've had a fair bit of a play with it using it live, have to get send/return cables either made or diy before i can use it to it's full potential i guess.i'm glad i got this at the price i did, eventually down the line i'm getting a djm1000 and when i do i'll look at getting efx1000's but for now i'm happy with what i've got Quote
