fackedd Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 lol cmon, you would have to be delusional to think guys like staff bro's wouldn't win. Although I'm glad to see hook n sling and tommy trash move up a fair bit. Loving both of them at the moment. Quote
Jaz Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 lol not even close lol, sam la more, tom trash would be at the top for me, but they mix to my style Quote
LabRat Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I duno why but the Perth results are FUCKED! I should be grateful that the club night I play(Ed) at won perths best night but it's not true! You tell me if it's perths best night when a top of 80 people rock up on average. I reckon this was all shodowed by the biggest night of the year which was Afrojack. I reckon I'm about to stop caring a whole lot for this industryBtw, I'm not sure if this is for dance music only or not but there are some real decent commercial places that will give some of these places a real good run for their money Quote
lloydc Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 pfft just stop caring about ITM^thisand realise that fame and success in this industry is only as good as your marketing manager. Quote
Skank Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 i allways get the feeling its a very specific audience voting Quote
Cupe Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 i allways get the feeling its a very retarded audience votingfixed Quote
Skank Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 i think that if they released the exact stats it would be interesting Quote
JonnyB Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 tbh if it was actually all down to skill and not who has the most facebook friends, Ember should of been #1dj in aus hands down, behind the decks he is a freak, i think he only came in at 20 something, fucking bullshit. Quote
J0rdz Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Popularity contest, nothing more, nothing less. In now way to does it represent your skill and ability as a DJ.I've heard on good authority that certain people who have placed first in the past have paid a marketing team upwards of $15k+ to run campaigns sourcing them votes. Tomy Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 i've heard a rumor that they wont be back next year........ Quote
