RhemyD
Hey folksPPCA is now offering a blanket broadcasting lisence for a noninteractive medium which means if you are pre recording a show and then broadcasting it PPCA can lisence you to do it at a small cost (that of course is admin fees etc). You are still free to negoatiate with the individual labels themselves. What they still havn't done is made it so we can broadcast music live without fear of copyright persecution (my thoughts are still if you don't make money on it you're safe). However, I want to go and request special permission form each recording label so i can broadcast a live weekly set from my computer without the need to keep it underground. What I'm asking for help from you all is what are the names of the labels in Australia that I should be approaching?(that and the info above might help others in lisencing issues, why is it I always seem to be the one finding out about all the nitty grity lisencing isues lol)Cheers,

RhemyD
not specifically... it just lists record labels, without nationality last i looked.broadcasting thsi is still an issue for me.i've found a way around this problem for now with regards to ppca lisence for public broadcast of music but not for online, i would still like to negotiate with teh labels directly rather then forking out $200 every quater per DJ and System i have working for me.
