Ok long story short

found a guy selling a pair of 400's for $800

Offering him a lower price of course

Hopefully he wil accept and I am finally rid of the curse that is the MDEX 3

just buy them!!! 400s are good for parties

and get a 400 mixer (got no idea how much they cost but yeah)

This was what he has been told in the 300 threads prior to this :teef:

Can pick up a DJM400 for about 400-450. But I am pretty sure Sol wants A&H mixer.

Well, I was going to have my laptop plugged into the 3rd channel for requests, but with HID I don't need a sep one, I can just load the track into tracktor/vdj/whatever

Perhaps if I get a better system of organising my music and putting it on usb's. hmmm

It will also stop twats thinking that I just click around on a laptop

Man that pisses me off

sol im currently trying to organise my music for usb use and requests etc and if i can make it work will upgrade my 2 x 8gb to 2 x 32 gb to be able to have a huge amount of music on USB.(def dont want to use a laptop.. yet) surely we can figure out a good system between us :) ill let you know what i come up with and please let me know for yourself aswell im very confused and want to have about 5000 songs on usb but still access all of them quite easily!

i read 32gb usbs are no where near as stable as alot of the smaller sized usbs. Might have been on here somewhere even.

IMO Your better off:

- getting a few different usbs and labelling them in some sort of order (e.g. A-F on usb 1, G-L on usb 2, etc)

- using cds arranged in some order (e.g. 1 track + its remixes per cd or something along those lines. No more than 7-8 tracks per CD - 8 tracks has reasoning behind it, to do burning processes and scratching of the cds)

- use a timecode setup.

one of these methods your going to have more success finding music quickly, rather than having 2 usb drives and trying to read off a tiny screen all night

yeah ive been thinking about going timecode with them but like the no laptop feel of it so much , ill see i gues but thanks for tip man i prob wont bother going bigger than 8gb then!

Make a thread titled "The SolDios gear thread" and post all of your pointless shit in there, so you don't clog up the boards every time you change your mind.

And ffs, learn to Google, put shit in the correct section and post threads with somewhat relevant names.

And you may think I sound like an asshole, but should know better by now.
