The new layout confuses and infuriates me

im confused with shit as well lol

Jaz, the boards aren't actually that much different from the old ones, its just an upgrade, sure there are some minor differences but there is a lot more potential with the upgrade. You're always going to have to take a little time to adjust with anything new, give it a couple of days to get used to the *slightly* differernt navigation of how you get around, and after awhile it will grow on you. In my opinion this looks a lot more professional, clean, neat and tidy this board isnt even 48 hrs old and cupe and crew have been putting in some serious man power, all off his own back dont forget

hey cupe, not sure if its my computer or not

but i just noticed Tomy posted a youtueb vid, but ti didnt embed properly

viewtopic.php?f=43&t=6608

could be a bug that needs fixing?

edit: just saw the post explaining how to post a youtube vid, pretend i said nothing ;)

People are going to keep incorrectly trying to embed media for a little while, if you see someone do it, inform them of the new way to embed and everyone will learn quicker

I'll try to work something out.. Might be related to chrome, not sure yet

Will continue to troubleshoot.

Can you try using a different browser and see if the problem still occurs?

IF YOU ARE HAVING LOGIN PROBLEMS PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:

1. CLEAR ALL YOUR COOKIES

2. CLEAR YOUR TEMP FILES ETC (RELATING TO ADJF)

3. CLOSE ALL BROWSERS AND RESTART

Let me know if after all that you still are having login problems (include what browser etc)

If I subscribe to a forum do I get mailed for new threads and new posts in threads in that forum?

Or do I need to subscribe to all the individual threads I want to know about?

cheers

^yep, subscribe to a forum results in an email for any new posts or new threads in that forum.

so there is no point subscribing to new threads in a forum you have already subsrcribed to.

working again on firefox for me, i went into my cookies and individually removed the old ADJF ones, even though my browser was set to allow all and allow 3rd party. Will see how this goes over the next couple of days

sorry for raising the dead here... this could be a safari issue, mac issue, adjf issue or just foolish issue.

I'm having problems staying logged in now...

sometimes its fine, sometimes I need to log in, sometimes I'm logged in, write a post, click submit and then it tells me to log in again.

I know you had issues with this before but it's only just started happening to me.

also i'm so new to mac i have no idea how to empty cache/delete cookies etc..

help pls?

Try this

On safari:

To Empty Cache - open safari, click safari button at the top. Empty cache is in that menu

To empty cookies: Open safari, click safari button, go to preferences. Click privacy tab. Here you can either just delete every cookie by clicking 'remove all website data' (which it sounds like you've never done it so this could be an idea) or you can just click details, search 'ausdjforums' and just remove the ausdjforums cookies.

See how that goes
