Yep...I bought this truss for work recently.

Its made from thin aluminum tubing and I wouldnt load it up with anything heavy. The bolts that come with truss for hanging fixtures are half the thickness you would expect and the wingnuts look hand made and not very strong. Expect to replace all the bolts and drill some bigger holes your self. You get what you pay for with this baby. It will do the job but isnt built to last.

If you want something more rugged, look for steel tubing that has been welded. It may cost more but will be better for you in the long run.

Looks like the one I bought on ebay.

Horizotal arm bends with just 2 Par56 cans on the ends.

Is shakey with a 20k Double Derby centre mounted at 2m high also.

Had to do a bit of welding to stiffen up the derby mount and still nervous when I sit in front of it at gigs.

ey fab are you reffering to the ebay or dj city stand?

I ended up getting the dj city one. Its fairly heavy compared to my speaker stands but the rivets on the legs seem a bit loose.

I need to have the lights on top of the bar instead of hanging because the stand isn't that high.

The stand came with, 1 x bolt, 1 x nut, 1 butterfly nut, 2 x washers.

Am i meant to use both the regular and butterfly nut to secure the light?
