Skank Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 What I don't get is, why use cdj2000's when using timecode?why wouldnt you use timecoded serato with cdj 2000? Quote
Lurk6r Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Serato im not familiar with, but with traktor you store cue points and loop on the laptop, pitch lock on traktor/not cdj, effects in traktor/not cdj.Basically what im getting to is all the functions are taken over by the software reducing the cdj down to transport, pause and temporary loops. Quote
Skank Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Ok I get ya now, but when using a dvs tractor serato you are essentialy turning your cdj in to a turntable, that's what they were designed for, but now with midi u can still keep the features of a cdj and the program your using its just up to the venue if u can screw around hookin up all the usbs Quote
