Tomy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 what are you more likely to go for? discuss why. Quote
Gandy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 i like to read it/see it in text that way i can re read parts if ive missed somethign or something doesnt make sense. Also if they have a strong accent and its hard to understand them it is very frustrating for me personally because i like to take in and analyze everything that is being said Quote
eggssell Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 actually id prefer to watch it. as you can get a better sense of the person, and their engagement in the interview.after that prob read it. its also good to have a transcript of videos for those times (like at work) when you cant just be watching vids.not to say i dont mind live interviews to break up radio shows Quote

Tomy Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 sadly video isn't an option for me. its just to hard with global artists, as well as trying to get them in to film while they are in brissy / might be in brissy. Quote
Cupe Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 reading is good cause i can come back to itPROVIDED it has been edited and formatted properly and isn't written like shit Quote
Jaz Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 video if ever possible, but audio over text for me Quote
CapFive Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 yeah i dunno, maybe both? seriously though you cant get a feel of an artist unless you hear their voice Quote
Elsamchez Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Just do audio, and then transcribe it when you are hosting it Quote
Cupe Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 you could do audio and just youtube it but have pics of the artist as the vid Quote
Skank Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 i voted listien i have 60 min round commute to work everyday so i download as many podcasts etc to stay up todate Quote
Mitch Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 i also like to watch videos of interviews, as they can show extras (e.g. interviewing a DJ, see their setup and that kind of thing).saying that, i like reading interviews as i can re read and fully understand what is going on better, especially if they are hard to understand. But you miss out on some of the emotions and stuff they give in the inverview. Quote
BeatLeSS Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Yeah text over audio though for me.Would much rather read it, have it soak in at my own pace. Quote
