LabRat Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Quad! Don't be fooled by anything else. If you're into sampling go for the KP3 Quote
SolDios Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 sol if you fucking buy that im coming to your house to get youDon't worry, this is AFTER I get my 850's Quote

SolDios Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Ebay :3 first result, good auzzie seller Quote
lloydc Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Ebay :3 first result, good auzzie sellercbf looking... i assume it's 'Buy now'? Quote
chrismak Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I think you're getting ahead of yourself Sol. An FX unit is only going to distract you from learning how to match beats & phrases, and producing flowing mixes. They can be fun at first....yes, but they wont help you to become a better DJ at your level. CapFive Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 sol if you fucking buy that im coming to your house to get youDon't worry, this is AFTER I get my 850's by the time you buy your 850's pioneer will be out of business and CDj's will be dead and gone... seriously mate just focus... eye on the prize! Quote
LabRat Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Don't get the quad off eBay. I'm pretty sure your local music shop would have it for a little more then 300. I'm pretty sure I can get one for 360 Quote
imadje Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I agree with the above, eyes on the prize. But if you really have to add salt to your high salt content big mac:Korg FTW. Quote
LabRat Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I've always used Korg gear. From rack synths right up to the digital versions of those synths. I don't see any better quality out there. As a live tool they're pure awesome! Synth or effects unit Quote
Lurk6r Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 For the sake of discussion. If your mostly doing mobile gigs, well, only mobile gigs. Why not just go with a controller? Quote
SolDios Posted August 5, 2011 Author Posted August 5, 2011 ^ yeh, im planning to get into clubs later down the linealso a controller and dedicated laptop will cost me more than 2 850's + mixeralso im paranoid of laptop crashes! Quote
wazza Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I got my KORG kp-Q ...for under 300its BAD ASS...if you need more info just let me know...Uploaded with ImageShack.us Quote
LabRat Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 you wont be upset with that thing. great purchase Quote
tubby Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 efx500 for $600 is pretty expensive. I borrowed one from a friend, almost never used it. Kaoss pad 2 I have gets a lot more use but still it's nowhere near as useful as I thought it'd be before I got it. Quote
LabRat Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 These days with technology changing so rapidly you might start seeing more people using effects units and samplers to be different. However they're more then likely going to be built into mixers more often Quote
