I've decided im going to learn CDJs before i get tt's. Probably 800s/850s is most likely in my price range. But may go 400/350s depending.

Firstly, what do you think of that deal. And secondly, anyone else got CDJs they want to get rid of.

I will also need a mixer (looking at DJM 400), and possibly serato.

Do you know how to replace the buttons?

imo I've seen excellent condition 800 mk2's go for $900 and less on ebay before. Although you do get the efx 500 with it

Also I wouldn't buy a pioneer mixer if you have an efx, may as well get a xone. Only advantage pio mixers have over xones are the effects.

i wanna get rid of some cdj 1000s. got a mk3 and a mk1 for sale. also got an efx 500 for sale if you want that too...

@ soldios, cdj midi sucks. HID is good, but 850s arent supported for that.

I wasn't buying it for the efx, I was actually going too see if he would split it. I did look up how to replace the buttons on YouTube, not too hard.

Soldios I have been lookin 850's but not many around compared to the 800's, so tend to sell for a fair bit more.

mitch, if your just gonna learn then get rid of them and buy TT's just buying some cheap CDJ's...there are sooooo many 800's around for like $300-$400 each, thats nothing

Well what the plan is, get CDJs and a mixer (possibly with serato) and get myself going on them, and possibly some TTs as well further down the track.

850s seem to be going for too much for what i wanna spend (some just sold for 1500+ on ebay).

800's seem to be going for 900-1000 for a pair, and foe has the 1000's at a similar price. Thats probably about what i want to spend on the CDJs, coz i still need to buy a mixer, serato box, road case.

I'd maybe even go 400's if any were going at the right price.

So what i wanna find out is what everyone has got going at the moment and try get the best gear for my $$$.
