Ableton Exporting

There is no way you can export mp3 in ableton so no matter what you do you will always have to convert to mp3 externally.

Bouncing all your tracks to a new audio track will just result in a new WAV file in the project and you will still have to export it, hence why it would be fairly pointless unless you wanted to look at the waveform or something.

ableton, like all DAW's doesn't work in MP3 as that is a compressed form of a .WAV file.

i wouldn;t not record within ableton if you bouncing out your final mix down as it may be of lesser quality depending on your settings.

best way to get mp3 is

>file export audio/vid

>then convert that saved file to mp3.
