MisterMeaner
So.... when you properly finish all of your tracks in Ableton what is the next best thing to do ? Do you just export the audio ? Or do you send all the tracks and record it into one final track ?
ChevChelios
Export the audio man, bouncing everything to a new audio track would be kind of redundant.
MisterMeaner
the file export so very large though ? then i always have to convert to mp3? what is wrong with bouncing ?
ChevChelios
There is no way you can export mp3 in ableton so no matter what you do you will always have to convert to mp3 externally. Bouncing all your tracks to a new audio track will just result in a new WAV file in the project and you will still have to export it, hence why it would be fairly pointless unless you wanted to look at the waveform or something. MisterMeaner
yea ofcourse i always convert to mp3 after exporting through ableton......... but one not bounce all the tracks to one and delete all the individual tracks? how does everyone get high quality wave files at 12 to 15 mb in stead of mine being 50 mb ? Tomy
ableton, like all DAW's doesn't work in MP3 as that is a compressed form of a .WAV file. i wouldn;t not record within ableton if you bouncing out your final mix down as it may be of lesser quality depending on your settings. best way to get mp3 is >file export audio/vid >then convert that saved file to mp3.
